Playing Games? Nancy Pelosi Claims Donald Trump Isn’t Man Enough To Appear Before Committee

Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House, made fun of Donald Trump and predicted that he wouldn’t cooperate with the January 6th Committee’s demand for documents and sworn testimony.

On The Sunday Show, MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart spoke with Pelosi and brought up the subpoena for Trump, which requests a number of records concerning the former president’s conduct during the assault of the U.S. Capitol and requests that he testify.

“Do you believe he’ll show up for the deposition?” Caphart enquired. If he doesn’t, what does it say to the American people? I don’t think he is a man enough to show up, Pelosi responded.

Technical issues prevented Capehart from hearing Pelosi at first, but the House Speaker repeated herself, drawing a startled “oh!” from the MSNBC presenter.

Pelosi said, “I don’t believe his attorneys will want him to attend up because he has to testify under oath. However, I doubt he’ll turn up. He isn’t a guy enough, in my opinion. We’ll see if he has the character to come. And the general population should express their opinion. Nobody is exempt from the law! They should judge how he reacts to that request if we think that’s the case.

When Capehart brought up the consequences of Trump rejecting the subpoena again, Pelosi responded, “They should assume that he feels he is above the law” in that case.

She declared, “He isn’t upholding the pledge we take to preserve and defend the United States Constitution.” We all take a solemn oath, and it is obvious that the rest of us had greater regard for the position he held than he did.
