For those of you wondering what exactly a "suicide door" is, here's the grim definition:

They were hinged at the rear edge, so if the vehicle was moving and they sprang open, anyone who grabbed to stop that happening was whisked out of their seat into the roadway. Seat belts were not in use at that time. Not a very clean form of suicide.

This vehicle really is over-the-top in pretty much every way possible and the price tag certainly reflects that, although, for practicality purposes, this cars gas mileage is dismal.

As reported by Car and Driver, the EPA estimates that the Ghost will return 12 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. Once we get a chance, we'll put the Ghost through our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test and update this story with the results.
