And after enduring relentless boos, the tension was palpable heading into Sunday night's NASCAR Cup Series All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
After the race, with a rather underwhelming 2nd place finish, Wallace had his moment to showcase exactly why he's such a divisive figure. He didn't hold back at all. He unabashedly flipped off the crowd. Yep, that's the kind of statement he decided to make.
