A man, named Matt, has embraced the idea of allowing his girlfriend, Zoe, to engage with other men while he's away at work. Surprisingly, Matt finds it to be a positive and comforting experience, not considering it as cheating.
Despite dating for only a few months, Matt proposed the idea to Zoe, and contrary to what one might expect, their relationship has grown stronger with increased trust as a result.
From The Mirror:
To be completely honest, this unconventional relationship dynamic appears more like a deviation rather than a healthy arrangement.
He also claimed he doesn't feel left out when his girlfriend meets up with other men, because she's always upfront with them about her relationship status, and even sends pictures and videos to Matt
Speaking on the YouTube series Love Don't Judge, Matt told Zoe: "When you agreed to it, I was happy with it, because I've spoken to you previously - I'd been cheated on [before], so I was quite happy to find someone who wasn't going to cheat behind my back.
"You'd send me pictures [and] videos. I ended up being involved in it [virtually] … It was like my own amateur porn."
Matt did admit that he does sometimes feel "jealous" of the other men that Zoe sleeps with, but he actually believes the jealousy is a "nice feeling" because he knows Zoe will come home to him.
He added: "I wouldn't say I'd never be jealous. It's quite a nice feeling, even though it's jealousy. Because at the end of the day, you know you're included, and you know you're coming home to me."
Perhaps it would be beneficial for both individuals to acknowledge that their situation aligns more closely with the concept of being "swingers."
