Well, Geraldo Just Floated His Dumbest Idea Since Opening Al Capone’s Vault

Geraldo Rivera was recently fired from "The Five" on Fox News, and he's already desperately plotting his return to television.

Rivera recently took to Twitter, where he pitched an idea for a new show called "The Four." As he describes it, the show would feature "an eclectic, diverse quartet of outspoken commentators-including me-covering the great events of the day, running in the 4:00 pm ET hour. Thoughts?"

Our thought is that this idea sucks and smells of pure desperation, Geraldo...

And many others on Twitter had similar feedback:

"Desperation is the world's worst cologne, Jerry."

"Go away, far away and stay there."

"Thoughts? Sure retire...you had a good run. Go be a rich happy guy."

"I think it’s time to retire Geraldo"

"Geraldo really needs to be out there. Screaming can't we just all move on and get along. He is terrified. Terrified Trump will be back, and we will see things like the Wiener laptop. The Trump hate is fear. They know he knows. His return will be the full exposure of all of them."

"On behalf of the country, we ask that you go retire in Capone’s vault."

Seriously, some people don't know when to just throw in the towel.

Geraldo should consider it a miracle that he's been allowed on television for this long.
