The U.S. team seriously underperformed, getting beaten by teams left and right. Many folks are wondering why a once top-notch soccer team is doing so poorly, and an ex-soccer star is giving some inside info on who might be responsible.
Carli Lloyd, a former U.S. women’s soccer star, has chimed in on the USWNT’s big loss in the World Cup. She's saying that players acting entitled and full of themselves are the ones behind this surprising World Cup upset.
Hmm, is she possibly talking about Rapinoe? Who seems to have an ego the size of Texas...
"All of the stuff that you talk about, it comes from a good place. You want this team to do well. You want this team not only to live up to the past, but to do even better."@AlexiLalas, @CarliLloyd, and @StatManMosse discuss the USWNT culture 🎙 pic.twitter.com/4fPdlPCD4D

From Slay News:
Lloyd said she started to notice “little things” within the USWNT that made her believe the team was headed for a debacle.
“I think when I first got onto the team, there was just a level of respect for everybody there, for coaches, for other players, for support staff,” Lloyd said.
“You know, massages, trainers, doctors.
“And as the years have kind of gone by — it’s little stuff, but it kind of amounts to big things — and ultimately affects on the field.
“If you’ve got a massage, let’s say for example, your name’s signed up on a certain time.
“And you decide to not show up.
“You decide to not text the massage therapist or tell them, ‘Hey, I’m running a few minutes late.’
“They’re just sitting there and they have to just sit there.
“And they have to kind of swallow that and not really say anything to the player that’s done that.
“There’s just things like that.
“It’s like, trash around the field.
“It’s throwing your warmup and expecting the equipment guy…
“There a level of — not everybody — but there’s a level of just kind of the entitlement of, ‘Everybody’s gonna do everything for you,’ and just not being respectful of others.”
I don't believe it's a big stretch to assume that Lloyd could be referring to Rapinoe without directly naming her.
After all, Meghan has been crowned by the left as their "woke princess," and I'm sure all this praise has gotten to her head.
