A Nebraska man, who had clearly consumed way too much alcohol, got behind the wheel and began driving home. While on the freeway, he noticed a car driving on the wrong side of the road and decided to be a responsible citizen by reporting it to the authorities. However, when the police pulled over the car driving on the opposite side of the freeway, it turned out to be none other than the man who had initially made the call. This guy essentially called 911 on himself.

“I’m on Highway 77 going north, and there’s somebody who’s on the wrong side of the road,” the driver told the 911 operator.
“Did you see what color or type of vehicle it was?” the operator asked.
“No. He had his brights on, man. He almost ran me off the road,” the driver replied.
“Which direction is he in — north or south,” the operator inquired.
“I am going northbound on 77. He was going southbound. I am on the east lane. He was on the left lane,” the driver responded.
“Could you tell whether it was a car, truck, or SUV?” the operator pressed.
“It looked like a truck, but dude almost hit me, so I was like holy s–t,” the driver replied.
It sounded perfectly legit, except when the officer finally pulled over the wrong-way driver, he discovered that the driver was the same person who made the call.
“Do you know why I stopped you?” the cop asked the driver.
“Yeah, because I was on the wrong side of the road,” the driver replied.
“Is there a reason for that?” the cop asked.
“No, I must have missed an exit,” the driver responded.
“Were you the one that called in?” the cop then inquired, putting two and two together.
“Yep. Because I thought somebody was on the wrong side of the f–king road,” the driver replied.
“Turned out it was you,” the officer said.
“Yep, like a dumb f–k,” the driver said.
Well at least the guy aknowledges what an idiot he is.
Gotta at least give him credit for that.
