Clown World: This New Electric Vehicle Factory Will Require a Coal Plant to Power It

Electric vehicles are becoming increasingly extravagant, folks...

Liberals have been touting these EVs as the future of cars  and a surefire way for us to help "heal" our planet. However, when many of them fail to acknowledge how the sausage is made, so to speak, it's as if they refuse to accept the fact that immense energy and resources are involved in manufacturing these "green" machines.

In fact, a new EV factory is demanding a coal plant to operate and will reportedly consume enough energy to power a small city.

From WND:

A $4 billion Panasonic electric vehicle battery factory in De Soto, Kansas, will help satisfy the Biden administration’s efforts to get everyone into an EV. It also will help extend the life of a coal-fired power plant.

Panasonic broke ground on the facility last year. The Japanese company was slated to receive $6.8 billion from the Inflation Reduction Act, which has been pouring billions into electric vehicles and battery factories as part of its effort to transition America away from fossil fuels.

The Kansas City Star reports that the factory will require between 200 and 250 megawatts of electricity to operate. That’s roughly the amount of power needed for a small city.

So let me make sure I understand this correctly...

The government wants to ban all gas-powered  vehicles because they're "bad for the environment," but using facilities that deplete resources at astonishing rates to manufacture EVs is somehow considered justified?

Someone, please make sense of this.
