This Woman Asks Men To Show Their Bank Account Info Before The Date So She Doesn’t 'Waste Her Time'

Lots of people are on the hunt for their "better half," and increasingly, younger folks are turning to the internet to find love. While it's super convenient, online dating comes with its own unique set of challenges. For instance, you're presented with this long list of potential matches, but you know next to nothing about them. They could be total scammers. So you try to come up with ways to vet them and see if they're actually decent people, but it's easier said than done. Trusting your gut doesn't always cut it.

Well, one young woman thinks she's found a solution to this dilemma. To make sure she's not wasting her time, she insists on seeing the bank accounts of men she's considering dating.

Oh boy…

From The Daily Mail:

An influencer has divided online opinion after revealing that she asks men for their bank account information on the first date.
Sofia Franklyn (@sofiafranklyn), 30, a content creator from New York, admitted: 'I've asked the last three dudes I've dated for their bank account info on the first date.'

She explained that she 'only wants to date a wealthy guy that has money' and wants to know if she's 'wasting her time'.
'I think, you know, I have a job, I'm very successful,' she told her podcast, Sofia with an F, with the latest episode featuring social media star guest Leo Skepi.

'So I think I have every f*****g right to be like, "Hi, are we on the same level or am I wasting my time?".'

Leo clarified if Sofia was asking for their log-in details, to which she said 'yeah' and pulled up a screenshot of the bank account amount of one man she was interested in.
'I don't think it's weird to ask for that kind of information on a first date,' she added.
The influencer stressed she wants to know the bank account details 'especially if they're under 5ft 10"'.

'I do that and, if they don't show me, I'll still go on like a second, third date but I need to know at a certain point. A lot of people think that's just crazy of me to do, I don't think it's that crazy.

'Also, I'm 30 - I'm not really trying to just date and f**k around.'
Viewers seeing a snippet of the clip on TikTok had mixed reactions, as some urged Sofia to 'look deeper into happiness and relations' whereas others insisted her take was 'valid'.

Here’s a photo of this woman - she’s not exactly Marilyn Monroe, or anything. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like a “broke” guy could photoshop his bank statements, since she demands his log-in information. Who does this lady think she is?

If I were a guy, I'd steer clear of any woman asking for my bank login details. To me, that's like a sea of red flags waving all at once.
