This past weekend, a new group of eager participants descended on Vegas for the 33rd annual IEHA Housekeeping Olympics. It was a welcome return for the event, which hadn’t been held for four years due to the so-called “pandemic." But fear not, the bedmakers, vacuumers, and dusters were out in full-force, showing the rest of slobs how it’s done.
From TMZ:
As expected, it was no clean sweep for participants, who came from all over North America to flex their domestic skills at Mandalay Bay's Michelob Ultra Arena ... which became a battlefield of brooms, beds, vacuums and buckets.
Competitors dazzled in tasks such as vacuum racing, bed-making and mop relay ... just to name a few.
IEHA Executive Director Michael Patterson believes the event brings to light the best practices, techniques, and innovations in the field while also buffing up the goal of showing the global impact of excellence within the cleaning industry.

So, who emerged victorious? Team Bellagio clinched the win. It appears that, at least for now, Bellagio has the top-notch cleanup crew in the business. For them, whatever happens in Vegas truly vanishes, thanks to some good old-fashioned elbow grease!
