Look: Celebrity Dog Breeder Has Lip Dangling from His Face After He’s Attacked by An Unlikely Dog

We've been hearing a ton of scary stories about Pit Bulls attacking, even to the point where the UK banned the breed. A lot of folks argue it's not the dog but the owner's fault, and they might be right. But still, some breeds are just naturally more inclined towards aggression and need extra caution. That's what makes this latest tale so bizarre. It's about a dog attack, but not by a breed you'd expect to be vicious. A well-known pet trainer got his lip nearly bitten off by a Frenchie, of all dogs – usually the cuddly, friendly type.

A celebrity dog breeder had his lip hanging on by a thread ... after a French bulldog viciously bit him in the face.

Ronnie Wright of Famous Owned Bullies tells TMZ ... he needed 11 stitches this week when an adult Frenchie at a client's house lunged at his face as he went to kiss it.

He didn't have much time to stop the gush of blood from his mouth ... telling us when he walked into the house to wash it off another Frenchie pounced onto his leg -- though he managed to kick it off.

Ronnie tells us when he looked in a mirror, his lip was hanging off his face and he was rushed straight to the ER.

Currently, he's still super swollen ... meaning it's hard for him to talk, eat, or sleep. He has been dealing with dogs his entire life and Frenchie's for 16 years and never had a single incident.

Unfortunately, the injury is pretty severe, and Ronnie's looking at reconstructive surgery to mend it. Guess it's a solid reminder for all of us: double-check if the dog's actually up for a smooch before going in for that wet one.
