Imagine being mere days away from strolling  down the aisle, only to discover that the person you're about to pledge your eternal commitment to has been two-timing you. For most folks, that'd be a gut-wrenching revelation, likely prompting them to spill the beans long before reaching the altar.

However, for one bride, playing it coy wasn't her vibe. Nope, she opted  for a more direct approach, confronting her cheating beau right smack dab in the midst of what was supposed to be a heartfelt vow exchange. Instead of reciting her pledges, this soon-to-be-wife chose to air out the dirty laundry by  reading aloud a slew of saucy text messages between her betrothed and his mistress.

From Mirror UK:

As is tradition, bride-to-be Casey, who changed both the betrothed’s names when she shared her story with bodyandsoul, was spending her last night as an unmarried woman with her bridesmaids at a hotel and apart from her fiancé Alex. The girls were having fun and enjoying a drink when Casey’s phone buzzed, as it had been all evening with messages of luck for the next day.

But when she opened this message Casey was horrified to see its contents. It was a series of screenshots from an anonymous woman and a number she didn’t recognise with the chilling words: “I wouldn’t marry him. Will you?”

The screenshots were of messages between this woman and Casey’s soon-to-be-husband and included selfies of the pair as well. The messages went back months and the most recent were only a few days before. She didn’t doubt the legitimacy of them and was appalled at their content.

She shared a few of them with the site. They read: "Your body is f*****g incredible. And s**t do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do. / I miss you so much. I can’t stop thinking about L, S, F’ing you. I’ve never had this kind of connection before. / This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game."

Naturally she was devastated over what she had seen and broke down, with her girls "threatening all manner of violence towards him". They wanted her to call Alex and confront him but she decided to sleep on it as she loved him and wanted to marry him the next day.

However after a night of little rest, she told her friends she was going to ‘out’ him in front of all their guests. Casey donned her dress which now felt like "just a costume", walked down the aisle and came face to face with her groom, who could clearly tell something was up by the look on her face.

Casey announced that there would be no wedding because Alex was not who she thought he was: "A ripple of shock went through the crowd and Alex tried to grab my hands but I put down my flowers to reveal my phone in my hand," she recalled. "I read every single message she sent me. With each word, more colour left Alex’s face."
