At a senior living facility in sunny California something went down is nothing short of miraculous. Four women, all classmates from the 1950s, found themselves reunited under the same roof. Yep, you read that right. These ladies had been tight since high school, and here they were, still kicking it together in their golden years.
If that doesn't tug at your heartstrings, I don't know what will, folks.
From Christian Headlines:
"We had a prom every year," Joan Harris said. "We had a girls basketball team. And we played other Catholic girls' high schools. We had typing, and we had music and art."
While in their advanced age, the women understand just how valuable and important friendship is now. Their time together means everything to them.
"I think friendship is very important," Sylvia Crane said. "And having old friends is wonderful. There's so many of us that are gone. It's very important to me to know that I still have these three wonderful women around me."
