Angel Studio’s Sound of Freedom finished No. 10 at the box office for 2023 with a gross of $184,177,725, edging Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which landed at No. 11 with $179,635,196, according to data at BoxOfficeMojo.com. For 2023, Sound of Freedom topped movies with significantly bigger budgets, including No. 12 Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny ($174 million), No. 13 Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One ($172 million) and No. 17 Elemental ($154 million). Indiana Jones and Elemental both are Disney films.
Sound of Freedom was the surprise hit of the summer, opening at No. 1 on the Fourth of July and grabbing the top spot three more times.
