National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby repeatedly denied that the United States was involved in explosions that damaged the Nord Stream pipelines, speaking to Fox News. “It’s a completely false story. There is no truth to it, Shannon,” Kirby told host Shannon Bream, when asked about an article by journalist Seymour Hersh alleging US involvement. “Not a shred of it. It is not true.
