Kelly, Bolling Have A Message for Kevin McCarthy; It’s Time To Move On

After an unprecedented multi-day failure to obtain enough votes for his confirmation as the future Speaker of the House, political commentator Megyn Kelly laughed at the prospect of Kevin McCarthy being the next Speaker of the United States House of Representatives.
McCarthy, along with others who have remained steadfast in their opposition to his leadership, has been brought to disgrace and ridicule as a result of the multi-day voting process. This is because the House majority seemed to be in disarray over the vote. Eric Bolling, host of Newsmax, joined Kelly to discuss the tumultuous scene once he had arrived.
Kelly alluded to McCarthy’s “flip flops” as a kind of “self-preservation,” and the two political experts battled back and forth about “what happens” next if Donald Trump-backed McCarthy were able to gain the votes. They also questioned the representative’s motives.
Kevin, it is time to go on with your life, Bolling stated.
Kelly stated that she had the impression that everyone was the same way. “Politicians will always act in a way that is ultimately beneficial to themselves. It’s important for him to protect himself in the role that he’s chosen, so he flip-flops and goes in whichever direction the wind blows.”
The following sentence by Bolling describes McCarthy’s obsessive desire for the role as “creepy.”
“It’s just another take on a potential presidential contender, really. That is to say, they are the same way. They are all narcissistic, they are all self-aggrandizing, they all say what they have to say in order to win elections, and they all lie “According to Kelly. “It’s unfortunate, but that’s the honest truth. It’s an unfortunate reality of life in American society.”
In an interview with the host of The Megyn Kelly Show, Bolling stated, “I just would like the best person, as a conservative, I’d prefer the best person, and I don’t think Kevin McCarthy is it.”
Kelly went on to say that it would be “awesome” if the next Speaker of the House of Representatives was a young woman who was a Republican.
