ICYMI: U.S. Energy Department Makes A Startling Conclusion About Origin Of Coronavirus

The COVID-19 respiratory sickness that decimated the world is most likely the result of a lab leak, according to the U.S. Energy Department. According to a classified intelligence analysis shared with the White House and Congress and reported by the Wall Street Journal, the department, which is in charge of numerous American laboratories and research facilities, has determined with “low confidence” that a lab leak is the most likely cause of the pandemic.

While four other departments concur with the FBI’s assessment, the Energy Department believes COVID-19 most likely originated from natural transmission. According to the article, two agencies, including the CIA, haven’t come to a definitive decision.

The Energy Department changed its mind about the issue after receiving new intelligence; nevertheless, the department’s reasoning was different from that of the FBI, which came to its conclusion with “moderate confidence” back in 2021, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Uncertainty persists on the specifics of the fresh intelligence that prompted the Energy Department’s change. While having different points of view, U.S. agencies seem to concur that COVID-19 did not originate from a Chinese biological weapons program, according to the study.

When the epidemic began, there has been considerable conjecture that the virus originated from a lab breach. This speculation has been fanned in part by the fact that the virus was first recognized in close proximity to the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

China has vehemently refuted the theory that the virus came from a lab leak and has even advanced conspiracy theories that the United States was behind the spread of the terrible disease. Some scientists initially dismissed the lab leak notion as a hoax, but it has recently garnered some support.

The first theory is that the virus originated in a wet market close to Wuhan, China, though the precise timeline of the virus’s transfer from animal to human is still up for question because no proven animal source has been identified.

Public specialists have come to varying opinions regarding the origin of the virus. Dr. Anthony Fauci came to the conclusion that it was more likely the result of a natural occurrence, whereas Dr. Robert Redfield, the former director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, stated it likely came from the lab.

Fauci stated last year that “we retain a completely open mind as to what the origin is.” Having said that, there is significant evidence that this is a natural phenomenon if you look at the analysis by highly educated international scientists without political objectives.

No later than November 2019, COVID-19 started to spread across Wuhan, China, according to a 2021 intelligence report. According to government estimates, the virus spread rapidly by New Year’s 2020, killing over a million Americans and causing trillions of dollars in economic damage around the world.

Since the takeover earlier this year, House Republicans have been interested in examining the COVID-19’s historical background.
