It turns out that the strange lights in the sky were actually just part of Taylor's epic concert show.
But hey, can you blame them for being a little spooked? I mean, who knows what kind of otherworldly beings might be drawn to a Taylor Swift concert?
Wonderwall reported that on April 13, 14 and 15, the pop star took her massively successful "Eras" tour to Tampa, Florida. During the course of the three shows, several local residents saw strange lights in the cloudy Florida sky and were quick to assume they were seeing a UFO. It turns out that those were just lights from Taylor's show at Raymond James Stadium, an outdoor football venue.
A video of the lights is going viral, and it's rather comical. In the expletive-filled clip, a group of people sounded stunned while watching the light dancing in the sky.

"They're coming for you," one person can be heard saying. Another voice clearly knows what's happening in the area but is far from convinced that concert lights were, ya know, bigger than the whole sky. "That is NOT Taylor Swift!," the person shouts.
Social media also had some fun with the UFO chatter.
"That's not Taylor Swift @taylorswift13, that's some alien [expletive]," one person wrote.
While the UFO theory is certainly fun, it's pretty clear that E.T. wasn't the source of the light… but it WAS a "Taylien."
I mean, those lights are pretty intense.
Maybe we can't blame these poor Floridians for being a little alarmed? Although...jumping straight to UFO seems a bit extreme...
