Mark Wahlberg’s Family “Thriving” Immediately After Fleeing Hollywood

Mark Wahlberg scooped up his family and high-tailed it out of Hollywood and headed for the bright lights of Las Vegas. It may sound like a lateral move, but it’s not. Getting out of Hollywood will improve anybody’s life.

And that’s exactly what Mark is experiencing. Since leaving the cesspool of Hollywood, Mark says that he and his entire family are “thriving.”

OK! Magazine reported that Mark Wahlberg needs an "I ❤️ Las Vegas" T-Shirt! On Thursday, April 27, the famous actor discussed his family’s transition to Sin City after their recent move from Los Angeles, California.

"They love Vegas (https://okmagazine.com/p/george-clooney-blasts-johnny-depp-mark-wahlberg-rejecting-roles-oceans-eleven/)," he shared about his family-of-six. "I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career, and now it’s time for them to pursue theirs. Everybody is thriving there. It’s been great." The father-of-four also expressed his own enthusiasm for living in the new city.

"I saw Adele, I saw Bruno Mars," he noted, referring to the musician Vegas residencies. "I’ve seen quite a few shows and been to lots of great restaurants. There’s so much to do in Vegas and it’s so exciting."

Mark's a true family man and a very faith-based guy, so while it might sound strange to many that he choose Las Vegas as a place to live, there’s actually a really thriving “suburban” family life in Vegas. For the locals, The Strip is more of a place to work, not play, and there’s a lot to do outside of the The Strip.

Happy to see he and his family got out of Hollywood and found happiness in the desert.
