Baseball Game Marriage Proposal Goes Viral For The Wrong Reason!!

It was a fantastic opening night at Dodger Stadium, but there was more going on than just the baseball game.

Even though the Los Angeles Dodgers crushed the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-2, the moment when what was supposed to be a romantic, life-changing gesture ended up more closely resembling a football play was the most talked-about event of the evening.

Ricardo Juarez, a Dodgers fan, had the brilliant idea to jump onto the field of play at one point during the game, grab a ring from his pocket, and pop the question to his girlfriend who was watching from the stands.

A security guard charged out and jumped on Juarez in a bone-crushing tackle before he could get a response, though.

Juarez was already kneeling when security personnel charged at him at full speed, flattening him to the ground, as seen in video recorded on phones across the stadium. Juarez is attacked by two additional security personnel who then handcuff and haul him away.

Ramona Saavedra, Juarez's fiancée, later admitted on Instagram that she had indeed said yes, but that it had taken many hours to be reunited with her now-fiance as he was dealing with the repercussions of his romantic but unlawful act.

She posted on Instagram, saying, "Alright, the finest proposal ever. I love you and yes, I'll marry you." Juarez was taken to jail, according to Saavedra, then released a few hours later. No information has been released regarding his future access to Dodger Stadium.

During the event, the newly engaged pair stood for a photo while Saavedra displayed her sparkling new engagement ring.

He probably anticipated being led away since, as every savvy professional sports fan knows, trying to enter the field at any stadium is strictly prohibited. He most likely didn't anticipate that hard tackle in his life, though. What we will do for love!
