Star NBA Player Suspended After He Flashed a Gun in Instagram Video

An NBS star is now facing the end of his career after he was caught flashing a gun in an Instagram live video. If he owns it legally, I don’t understand what the big deal is.

I get that this guy appears to be trying to look like a “gangsta” or something, but in America, you can certainly own a gun. But there may be more to this story; as he’s now been suspended from the Memphis Grizzlies while they further investigate this incident.

Watch (the flash is fast and happens at the 13 second mark):

TMZ reported that the Memphis Grizzlies just announced Ja Morant has been suspended from all activities pending League review. An NBA spokesperson says they are in the process of gathering more information.

Ja Morant has set social media ablaze with another apparent gun incident ... this time flashing what appears to be a weapon Saturday during an IG Live.

Morant is having fun in a car with a friend, listening to NBA YoungBoy's album. As the camera pans toward him, you see what appears to be the Grizzlies star holding a gun ... just for a second, and then the camera turns away.

Fans recorded the moment and it's making rounds on social.  What we don't know ... whether the gun's real, and whether it's his.

There was a previous incident in March with Morant and a gun ... he was at a Denver nightclub on IG Live, but later said the gun wasn't his.

Many people online are drawing parallels between Morant and former NFL player Aaron Hernandez, who sadly ended his own life while in prison. It seems that despite all the success and fame, Aaron was never truly content and chose to associate himself with a "thug" persona, both in his interactions with friends and in his actions. As a result, he was con
victed of murder, leading to the tragic demise of his life.
