Actor Treat Williams Suffers Brutal Death Right After Posting Picture of Himself Mowing The Lawn

Treat Williams provided a glimpse into his serene life in the countryside in his last social media post prior to his untimely passing.

The post, a video showcasing the "Everwood" actor peacefully mowing the lawn and offering a tour of the picturesque farmland, was shared with the heartfelt caption: "The fragrance of freshly cut hay is truly unparalleled." Tragically, this post was made mere hours before his unfortunate demise in a motorcycle accident in Vermont.

He, his wife of 35 years Pam Van Sant, and their two children, Gill and Ellie, long called an old Manchester, VT farmhouse their home. The actor adored the state, frequently posting photos of his property and the countryside to social media.

“I’ve always loved Vermont, and it’s kind of a way of sharing that with people,” he told the outlet My Devotional Thoughts in a 2016 interview.

He added that he was honored when one Twitter denizen excitedly pointed out he was on the platform only to be corrected by another who thought he was a historically-inclined farmer.

“Somebody went, ‘OMG! Treat Williams is on Twitter!’ And somebody wrote back, ‘No, that’s a farmer in Vermont who takes pictures of old buildings and stuff,’” he recalled to the publication.

“I was so proud of that. You know, I’m very happy where I live and I love my environment.”

Williams was riding his motorcycle on Route 30 near Dorset when he was struck by a car driver who didn’t see the motorcycle while making a turn, People reported.

It's incredibly tragic to contemplate how this day unfolded for Williams, seemingly ordinary as he went about his routine, leisurely tending to his lawn and sharing glimpses of his life with his devoted fans.

Regrettably, this serene backdrop took a devastating turn when a reckless driver abruptly extinguished his life.
