New Horrific Theory Emerges About What Likely Happened to Submersible Craft Traveling to Titanic Wreck

As you're probably aware, there's been a recent incident involving a missing submersible craft. Its mission was to explore the depths and reach the wreckage of the Titanic. The four individuals on board had paid a considerable sum of 250K each for the chance to witness the historic wreck. The founder of the company who organized the expedition was personally leading the journey.

Unfortunately, something went very wrong, and the group lost communication with the research ship. Given the limited oxygen supply on board, the situation appears dire for the group.

Disturbing new theories regarding what likely happened are beginning to surface… and it’s a nightmare.

From The New York Times:

Leaders in the submersible craft industry were so worried about what they called the “experimental” approach of OceanGate, the company whose craft has gone missing, that they wrote a letter in 2018 warning of possible “catastrophic” problems with the submersible’s development and its planned mission to tour the Titanic wreckage.

The letter, obtained by The New York Times, was sent to OceanGate’s chief executive, Stockton Rush, by the Manned Underwater Vehicles committee of the Marine Technology Society, a 60-year-old trade group that aims to promote ocean technology and educate the public about it.

The signatories — more than three dozen people, including oceanographers, submersible company executives and deep-sea explorers — warned that they had “unanimous concern” about OceanGate’s development of the Titan submersible, the same craft that is now missing in the North Atlantic with five people on board.

The chairman of the committee, Will Kohnen, said in an interview Tuesday that the letter grew out of fears about what could happen if the company did not stick to established standards.

“The submersible industry had significant concerns over the strategy of building a deep sea expedition submersible without following existing classification safety guidelines,” Mr. Kohnen said.

The letter said that OceanGate’s marketing of the Titan had been “misleading,” because it claimed that the craft would meet or exceed the safety standards of a risk assessment agency known as DNV, yet the company had no plans to have the craft assessed by the agency.

The industry leaders said that OceanGate should test its prototypes under the watch of DNV or another accredited registrar.

But it gets worse. As the clock ticks away, and those precious “2 days” worth of oxygen slowly disappear, even more nightmarish theories have come to the surface.

Many experts believe that the subversive could have likely imploded and burst into many pieces, becoming exactly what Titanic is - a burial ground.

From Sky News

The submersible that went missing on its way to the wreck of the Titanic may have imploded and collapsed into pieces, an expert has told Sky News.

Dr David Gallo, who describes the Titan's pilot, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, as his "best friend", said the timeline suggests something happened "mid-water".

Contact with the vessel was reportedly lost about an hour and 45 minutes after it submerged on Sunday.

But Dr Gallo, a senior adviser with RMS Titanic Inc, noted it takes about two hours to reach the wreck.

"If they weren't there (at the wreck) that means something had to happen mid-water that caused them to lose power or radio communications," he said.

The worst case scenario is "probably a collapse - a catastrophic implosion of the sub itself which would be horrific", Dr Gallo said.

"There's no coming back from that. I would have to say that has got to be the number one option here - which is unpleasant to think about.

"I don't know how else you can disappear that quickly."

Whatever theories exist out there, most all experts believe that they won’t find these people alive.

Watch:

It's truly incredible how we can venture into space and explore vast distances, yet the ocean remains a virtually undiscovered world. While this incident serves as a sad reminder, it's very important that we exercise caution and refrain from delving into the depths of the sea until we have the necessary equipment to conduct safe investigations.

Regrettably, this company appears to ave lacked such preparations, resulting in a tragic loss of lives. It's so horrific to think of the loneliness and fear experienced by those who likely met their demise so deeply underwater.
