Last year, all the Royals publicly sent birthday wishes to Meghan and Harry's daughter Lilibet, even though her birthday fell during the busy Queen's Jubilee. However, this year was a completely different story. It was complete silence from the Royals, at least in public, and that sends a very clear message about the state of their relationship right now.
From Elle:
This year, however, there have not yet been any messages to the Sussexes or Lilibet anywhere.
Harry and Meghan's son Archie celebrated his fourth birthday on May 6, which was the same day as King Charles' official coronation. It's not too surprising that things were busy for the Royal family that day, but they did not wish him a happy birthday either.
Meghan and Harry, however, are planning a party at home with their children and a few close friends. A source told New Idea, “No doubt she’ll be getting a truckload of presents. Meghan has fallen in love with Cartier’s absolutely divine music boxes.”
They added, “Harry is letting Meghan take charge of most of Lili’s gifts, but he was talking about adding more British books to the nursery that he used to love as a kid, like the Paddington Bear and Frog and Toad series.”
You can bet Harry and Meghan are absolutely furious about this latest snub. It's no coincidence that this comes right after their recent claims of being done with "tell-all" books and interviews.
They must be really fed up with everything that's been going on.
