There's this well-known chain of gas stations in the southern United States called Buc-ee’s, and they've just opened their latest location, which is being hailed as the "world's largest gas station."
This place is seriously huge, covering an impressive 74,000 square feet. It's not just your typical gas station though – it's got a massive shopping center, a complete barbecue restaurant, spacious bathrooms, and a gigantic rest area. It's basically like a giant mall mixed with a gas station. And when it comes to fueling up, they've got you covered with a whopping 120 pumps.

The Sevierville Buc-ee’s was inaugurated on June 26, 2023, and has already become a massive tourist draw. The fact that 18-wheelers are banned to make it a safer space for small vehicle drivers and pedestrians is a plus, as is the friendly staff of about 350 employees.
However, this location won’t be holding on to the title of ‘world’s largest gas station’ for long, as the company has already started working on an even bigger location – a 75,000-square-foot gas station in Luling, Texas. They say everything is bigger in the Lone Star State, so I guess it makes sense.

Maybe these gigantic gas stations can breathe new life into the dying American mall. I mean, they're pretty much like a mini Mall of America, but with a bunch of gas pumps thrown in.
