Now, it seems that Team DeSantis has a David Hogg of their own. This mystery guy, named Kyle Clare, has been featured in a post on X with the description: "Meet Team DeSantis’ very own David Hogg." In the video, this Hogg-lookalike discusses the fear he and apparently many other DeSantis supporters feel when calling out or denouncing Trump. As Clare puts it, Trump is in denial over his loss in 2024 and is a disgrace for allowing the events of January 6th to happen.

Needless to say, his words were not well recieved and many users issued some pretty brutal responses:
"Is this for real? This seems like a Democrat psyops to get people to vote for DeSantis."
"Cringe level = Infinite"
"Lordie lordie just pitiful lol I grew up in the 70’s when guys his age were already men. Pray that this isn’t what we’ll have to depend on to defend us. No wonder there’s so many single lib gals today lol"

"Actors gonna ACT! This is so cringe & fake just like DeSantis"
"At first I thought it was Dylan Mulvaney."
"WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO AMERICAN MEN?"

Although it's not confirmed whether Clare is actually a member of Team DeSantis, he's clearly a supporter, and people are not receptive to him or this message.
Is this really the type of narrative that DeSantis is trying to spread? If so, he's about to sink even lower in the polls...
