Almost everyone appears to be using these filters, from ordinary individuals to world-renowned celebrities. For instance, Madonna, who recently posted a picture on her social media without a filter, has left many fans concerned after revealing her rough appearance after being hospitalized in the ICU.
From The Mirror UK:
The 65-year-old Queen of Pop is currently in preparation for her world tour that has been rescheduled after she was hospitalised in June with a serious bacterial infection and spent several days in ICU. But fans can't get over how different she looks in new videos posted online.
Fans are used to seeing the singer with chiselled cheekbones but in recent pictures her face looks fuller. "Jesus what happened to her," one fan commented. Another wrote: "Her lips look painful."
"People need to stop injecting their faces," another added. A third wrote: "She’s got the wrong doctor giving her filler in the wrong places - all that money and she can’t get it right."
When Madonna was discharged from hospital she worked on her recovery at her home in New York, surrounded by her children Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 17, and 11-year-old twins Stella and Estere. Following her health scare, Madonna was forced to postpone the start of her Celebration world tour, which marked 40 years since her debut self-titled album was released.
The pop icon has since rescheduled her tour, which is set to kick off at the O2 Arena in London. The Celebration Tour will begin with a four night stint at the O2 Arena in London from 14 October, before visiting 10 other cities including Copenhagen, Barcelona, Paris and Milan.
I have to say, Madonna is looking rather rough.
When you combine her pale, bloated appearance with her recent hospitalization, you really have to wonder what kind of health issues she's currently facing.
My guess is that she's much less healthy than she lets on.
