School Janitor Contaminated Food and Utensils With Saliva and Semen When Nobody Was Looking

It's becoming increasingly difficult to know who to trust these days. Whether it's the internet enabling more insidious methods for harm or just the state of the world, it feels like there's a new, unsettling incident reported daily. And frankly, this recent case is particularly harrowing, not least because it involves children and a deeply disturbed school janitor.

In New Jersey, it was discovered that a janitor had vilely contaminated school utensils, equipment, and even food with an array of bodily fluids, including saliva, semen, urine, and feces. The thought of young, unsuspecting children being exposed to such vile contamination is beyond disturbing.

Custodial work can get dirty. But one South Jersey school employee performed a series of lewd and harmful acts that weren't part of the job description, authorities announced Friday.

Giovanni Impellizzeri, a school custodian in Upper Deerfield Township, shared videos of himself "performing sexual acts with inanimate objects" around Elizabeth Moore School, officials said. He also contaminated food and cafeteria utensils with saliva, urine, feces and bleach, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).

Impellizzeri faces several charges, including second-degree official misconduct. He was placed in the Cumberland County Jail, pending a detention hearing.

The investigation began after the school received multiple anonymous tips about disturbing videos in a group chat on Telegram — an encrypted text-messaging app — officials said. Impellizzeri filmed the videos at work and shared his profession in various posts, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

After reviewing Impellizzeri's posts and videos, police found that Impellizzeri performed the following acts on school grounds:

* Wiping his penis, testicles and anus with slices of bread and various utensils and items around the school.
* Spitting on the bread and putting it back in the container to be later served to school children.
* Masturbating and urinating on pillows and kitchen bowls.
* Spraying bleach into a cucumber container that was later served to students.

This depraved individual, 25 years of age, has been employed by the school district for nearly five years. Currently, the authorities are set to obtain biological samples from Impellizzeri to determine if he's transmitted any infectious diseases. Should there be a health risk, they'll inform parents about the necessary precautions.

Unsurprisingly, he faces charges including food tampering, assault, and child abuse. One can only hope that justice is served severely to this repugnant monster.
