Shopping online has its quirks, and one of  them is the struggle to figure out the size of things, especially when you're not packing a tape measure.

One dad wanted to score a cool dinosaur vstatue for his dino-obsessed kid. He's thinking a reasonable 9 feet, right? Wrong. Cue the surprise entrance of a whopping 20-foot Carnotaur, courtesy of a crane. Now that's a dino-sized oops!

From Mirror UK:

Andre found the online listing after his partner mentioned an amusement park in Jersey, Tamba Park, was selling its old stock of dinosaur statues.

He told the Sun Online: "The issue was as this was being sold off online, there was only a thumbnail image to try and gauge the size, no details whatsoever and no one to ask, I didn't care really! I knew he would be big, I estimated 3m long x 1.5m max… as it turns out, he was much bigger at 5m long x 2.3m high."

He said he did not realise how big it was until the delivery company told him it would not fit in a lorry, back in 2020. The task of delivering the dinosaur was made even more difficult by heavy rain in Jersey. It meant the Carnotaur's skin got wet, causing the statue to balloon in weight up to two tons.
