In Washington D.C., a 9-year-old boy made headlines when he was arrested for attempting to rob a woman at knifepoint. Shockingly, he wasn't the only one; a 13-year-old boy was also apprehended in connection with the same attempted robbery.

The shocking incident unfolded at around 12:40 a.m. on Friday in the nation’s capital.
A woman was attacked in the northeast quadrant of the city by two male suspects.
One of the suspects assaulted the victim and tried to grab her purse, prompting her to defend herself with pepper spray.
The other suspect then pulled a knife and attempted to stab the woman multiple times but was unsuccessful.
The woman called 911 and responding officers quickly apprehended the suspects near the scene.
“A 9-year-old juvenile male and a 13-year-old juvenile male, both of Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery While Armed (Knife),” the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) announced in a press release.
