Harry’s On a Mission To “Win Back” His Brother

The bond between Prince Harry and Prince William  has undeniably shifted from what it once was. These two brothers, who endured the loss of their mother at a tender age, once shared a close connection. However, since Harry partnered up with Meghan Markle, a substantial  divide has emerged between them. Adding fuel to the fire, Harry's personal manifesto, "Spare," in which he doesn't mince words about William and the rest of the royal family, has only  widened the chasm.

Yet, amidst the tumult, recent events have spurred Harry into action. With both their father and William's wife, Kate, facing cancer diagnoses, Harry is now determined to mend fences  during his upcoming trip to the UK. The stark reality of being largely excluded from the inner  workings of the royal family, particularly concerning Kate, may serve as a wake-up call for Harry to prioritize his family ties more earnestly.

From The Royal Observer:

"Prince Harry will do all he can to 'win' back his brother Prince William on his trip to England, but he knows it will take time," a royal insider spilled.

"He will do all he can to let his brother know he is there for him and to repair that bond," the source added. "He knows it won't be easy. He wants nothing more for them to get back to how they once were. He knows it will take time, and Harry is ready to put in the work as he is determined to have his family back and show support."

This May will mark both the 1-year anniversary of King Charles III's coronation, as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's "near catastrophic" car chase in Manhattan. But the month may also become unforgettable once again thanks to a proposed meeting between Harry and Prince William, who reportedly have not spoken to one another since September 2022.

"Given Kate's cancer diagnosis, Harry will certainly make efforts to see his brother and Kate when he returns to the U.K. in May — if it happens at all it's to be a very brief carefully choreographed meeting and organized to last a short time so that the brothers can avoid any difficult conversations," royal author Tom Quinn dished.

He continued: "At the same time, Harry knows how it will look if he comes back to the U.K. and doesn't see his brother and Kate. It's going to be a very awkward time."
