Speaking of outrageously priced concert tickets, one Swiftie got a taste of the sting from Taylor's exorbitantly priced Era's Tour. She dropped nearly $700 for a ticket, only to find herself seated in a spot where she couldn't even see the stage.
Now, that's what I call a rip-off, don't you think?
From The Mirror:
The devastated music lover paid almost $700 for the tickets to Taylor's show in Melbourne earlier this month - but after arriving at the gig discovered her line of sight to the stage was blocked by a massive "tower." The woman admitted she wasn't the only one left disappointed and that other fans who had travelled from Sydney were in tears over the hefty price tag and travel costs.
She described how they had all tried to seek help from staff at the venue only to keep "getting passed on"to other workers with nobody offering them any resolution. After eventually finding a supervisor the distraught group of fans were given tickets for seats on the other side of the stadium.
Having already missed the first few songs of the show they then had to get around the stadium to the new seats before they could watch any of th show. She explained: "We missed more of the concert as we raced around to the new seats, and while we made the best of things, it definitely impacted our experience."
The woman also admitted that rather than members of staff helping distribute the tickets to the fans affected by the view restriction, they were handed to her to distribute amongst them. Another fan who had paid $800 for VIP tickets found that their view was also obstructed - this time by a crew and sound mix tent.
The disgruntled fan shared a video of the view from her seats - M20 between rows G, H, and I of the Melbourne Cricket Ground - on TikTok. She captioned the video: "POV: You pay $800 per ticket for VIP Taylor Swift tickets and you can't see the stage. Ticktek pls explain."
