Trump Alerts Americans That Biden’s Responses To Russia-Ukraine War Are Wrong

After President Biden this week raised the “prospect of Armageddon” in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s warnings of nuclear war, the former president claimed on Sunday that the United States is “saying precisely the wrong thing” to Russia.

Without more caution, the crisis might escalate into “World War III,” according to Trump, who said that the United States should be pressing Russia and Ukraine to negotiate a settlement.

“We need to be really shrewd and quick. We must be aware of what to say and how to act. And we are really misrepresenting ourselves. At a rally in Mesa, Arizona, to support Blake Masters for the senate and Kari Lake for governor, Trump predicted that “We’ll end up in a Third World War.”

On Thursday, Biden issued a warning, stating that Putin’s recent threats to use nuclear weapons as Moscow’s forces battle to defeat Ukraine are “not jokes.”

At a fundraiser, Vice President Joe Biden referred to the 1962 standoff with the Soviet Union and remarked, “We have not faced the danger of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis.”

Trump stated on Sunday that with contemporary firepower, the risks of a world war were higher than ever.

At the gathering, he warned that unless a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine is demanded right away, there would never be another conflict of this nature. “Stupid, clueless people are the reason we will never have had a conflict like this. Additionally, it’s due to the types of weapons that are readily accessible nowadays.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, ruled off peace negotiations earlier this week after Russia annexed four of its seized areas.

Although Biden’s view that Putin’s nuclear threats should be taken seriously is shared by many security analysts and former military leaders, his remarks sparked discussion over whether the White House should be voicing such severe warnings.

According to American authorities, there are no indications that Russia is getting ready for an impending nuclear assault, and the American military’s nuclear posture has not altered.

John Kirby, a spokesperson for the White House on national security, claimed on Sunday that the president was “exactly reflecting the fact that the stakes are quite high right now.”

On Sunday, Mike Pompeo, a former secretary of state under Donald Trump, called the comment “reckless.”

“There is a horrible risk for the American people when you hear the president casually mention ‘Armageddon’ at a fundraiser,” added Pompeo. He should be speaking to us seriously, I thought.

If Moscow decides to deploy nuclear weapons, U.S. officials have threatened a “decisive” retaliation and “catastrophic repercussions” for Russia.

Trump’s appeal for peace echoes those posted this week on Twitter by entrepreneur Elon Musk. In order to stop Russian aggression, the creator of Space X proposed that Ukraine give some of the land it currently controls to Russia, consent to elections in other areas, and pledge never to join NATO.

The idea was swiftly rejected by Ukrainian officials, who have said that they will not relinquish even a little portion of their land to Russia.

Although Biden has mostly refrained from forcing Ukraine to participate in peace negotiations, his administration has stated that it will try to improve Kyiv’s influence at the negotiating table by giving its military weaponry.
