During the first segment of his broadcast on Wednesday, Sean Hannity urged Republicans to exercise their right to vote by employing any and all lawful measures at their disposal. His comments come the day after the Georgia runoff election, which took place on Tuesday, where Republican Herschel Walker was unsuccessful in his attempt to replace Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock. In recent months, Hannity has given Walker a significant amount of coverage for no apparent reason.
Because former President Donald Trump made questionable claims about alleged voter fraud via these methods, Democrats have generally dominated Republicans in mail-in and early voting over the past couple of election cycles. This is in part thanks to Trump, who was the party’s nominee for president at the time.
In the past, Hannity had stated some of these worries, and he did so again in an interview with Trump in 2020, during which he discussed claims of voter fraud.
The presenter of Fox News stated on Wednesday that despite the fact that he would conduct elections in a different manner, Republicans should work within the system that is now in place in order to elect the people of their choosing.
“It’s time now for Republicans to start paying a little bit of attention and loving the voting system that we have and not the one that they wish that they had,” Hannity said. “It’s time now for Democrats to start paying a little bit of attention and embracing the voting system that we have.” They can’t change the rules to fit their needs; they have to learn to accept them as they are.
Hannity stated that after the Republicans win critical statewide races, they will be able to focus on amending election laws in the manner that they deem appropriate.

The host continued by pointing out that because Republican voters have a tendency to avoid voting early and by mail-in ballots, the party is effectively starting off at a disadvantage of hundreds of thousands of votes in numerous races.
“It was projected yesterday when voting commenced in Georgia that Herschel Walker – because early voting and mail-in voting in Georgia – went into yesterday’s election trailing by 200,000 to 250,000 votes. This was due of early voting and mail-in voting in Georgia. That’s completely ridiculous. There is a significant amount of reluctance and opposition among Republicans to vote early or by mail.
The viewers of Hannity’s show received a jolt of reality from the host.
He affirmed, “This is how the system works.” “At this point in time, this is the reality. Do I believe that it is the most effective method? No, I don’t think that’s a good idea. Now, Democrats support the current political structure. The Republicans have failed to do so, which has been to their own harm. They refuse to acknowledge this fact.
He went on to suggest that he would eliminate voting machines and make Election Day a national holiday if he were elected president.
