The new iPhone 14 has come under fire from Steve Jobs’ daughter after she published a meme alleging that it is identical to the previous generation.
Apple revealed its new iPhone 14 line on Wednesday. The normal model has a 6.1-inch screen, while the Plus variant has a 6.7-inch screen, making it the same size as Apple’s biggest phone, the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Longer battery life and a “always on” display that displays the clock and alerts while inactive are among the new features. However, it appears that some individuals aren’t fooled by the new bells and whistles, like Eve Jobs, the daughter of the late Steve Jobs and his wife Laurene Powell, who responded to the news on Instagram.
“Me upgrading from iPhone 13 to iPhone 14 after Apple’s announcement today,” the meme’s caption said, depicted a middle-aged man buying the same shirt as the one he is wearing. Eve (yeah, just let that sink in for a second).
One individual tweeted: “How are the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 not the exact same phone?” It appears that many others share her opinion. Another person remarked, “The iPhone 14 is basically a 13 and a 12.” iPhone just replicates what Samsung’s flipping and folding phones do. Oh, what a letdown.
Another person commented that the “iPhone 14 and 14 Max is precisely the same phone as 13 and 13 pro Max.” “Technically, all iPhone 13 owners have been using iPhone 14 even before it was announced #same,” a fourth person commented.

At yesterday’s Apple Event, the iPhone 14 was announced. According to the tech giant, the new phone is more powerful than anything its rivals can match, with a five core GPU and a six core CPU.
Although certain customers will be eligible for discounts if they trade in existing devices, the ordinary model will set you back $799 (£849 in the UK), and the Plus variant will cost you $899 (£949 in the UK).
The new phone has a 12 megapixel primary camera, and it also has a front-facing camera with the same resolution. Apple claimed to have improved low-light photo performance compared to the iPhone 13 range and included a plethora of additional capabilities to guard the phone from theft and damage.
The iPhone 14 and 14 Plus are scheduled to be on sale on September 16 and October 7, respectively.
