Kelly’s Nugget: Maybe Republicans Shouldn’t Be In Charge Of Congress Before 2024

According to Megyn Kelly, a conservative pundit, if Republicans do not take control of Congress after the 2022 midterm elections, they will be in a better position to win the presidency.

During an interview on The Daily Wire’s election coverage on Wednesday, Kelly stated of Republicans, “The more they control, the more they’re going to get blamed.”

The Democrats’ ability to claim, “We were going to do all these fantastic things for you, except for that terrible Mitch McConnell, you know, and that wicked Kevin McCarthy,” grows as they gain more control. I’m in a good mood right now because I believe our government will become divided. Whether or whether the Republicans control both houses of Congress isn’t something I really care about.

On Wednesday, it was still unknown how key races that would determine who would control the House and Senate turned out. The GOP still has a chance to take control of both chambers of Congress.

But in a handful of key states, Democrats performed better than expected. To succeed Sen. Pat Toomey, Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman defeated Republican rival Mehmet Oz, who had Trump’s support (R-Pa.). Rep. Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) also triumphed in a contest that was seen as being quite competitive.

With his double-digit victory on Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) stoked rumors that he would run for president in 2024. In the meantime, former President Trump is anticipated to declare his candidacy for the presidency in 2024 later this month.

People “got themselves all worked up that it was going to be this tsunami” of Republican opposition to President Biden’s administration, according to Kelly, a former cable news anchor who is now a key voice among conservatives.

She continued, “And now they’re failing to recognize that this is a significant night.
