Paul Ryan: Donald Trump Won’t Be Electable In 2024

Donald Trump might not be the Republican Party’s nominee for president in 2024, according to former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI), who blasted the former president as the one who has the best chance of losing.

Why would we choose him when we all know he has a much higher chance of losing the presidency than any other candidate on our side of the aisle? Ryan stated in a conversation on Teneo’s Insight Series.

Ryan said that Trump’s continued political dominance is a result of “everybody’s fear of him.”

“Everyone is terrified of him, so that’s why he stays where he is. He added that once the herd mentality gets rolling, it’s impossible to stop. They are terrified of his pursuing them and damaging their aspirations.

Trump won’t be the party’s nominee, according to Ryan, regardless of his choice on a 2024 bid.

He stated, “Whether he runs or not, I don’t really know whether it matters; I think he’s not going to be the nominee.”

Other times throughout their interview, Ryan called Trump the Democratic Party’s strongest “weapon” in the approaching midterm elections and referred to him as a vulnerability for the Republican Party. The former president was charged with attempting to “intimidate” other Republican contenders into withdrawing from the race for the next presidency, according to him.

No one wants to enter the race first because doing so may draw the wrath of Trump and “MAGA voters,” he claimed, adding that he will attempt to frighten others out of it for as long as he can.

Trump has often asserted that his fans would be pleased with his choice, even though he hasn’t said if he will seek for office again in 2024.
