Trump Lawyer Tells DeSantis That Challenging Her Boss Would Be ‘Career Suicide’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is not prepared to run for president in 2024, according to a lawyer for former President Donald Trump. Trump’s attorney Alina Habba issued the caution on Monday night as tensions between the two GOP heavyweights appeared to be rising.

While waiting for Trump at a rally in Ohio, Habba stated during an interview on the Right Side Broadcasting Network, “DeSantis is DeSantis because of Trump.” “I believe I support what DeSantis is doing in Florida, but he must remain there,” I said.

Another Trump lawyer who conducted the interview, Christina Bobb, said she “100%” agreed and added that she backed DeSantis for governor and believes he would do well if he takes a break for the time being.

“Simply remain where you are. Before both women agreed about DeSantis, Habba added, “You are doing a great job in Florida. “Don’t act too quickly.”

He’s not ready yet, said Habba.

Trump has made repeated suggestions that he would run for president again after leaving the White House, but he hasn’t officially said if he’ll do so in the 2024 race. On Monday night, the former president declared that he will be making “a very major announcement” on November 15 at his Florida club, Mar-a-Lago.

DeSantis has stated that he is focused on winning reelection on Tuesday, despite the fact that some well-known individuals, including Elon Musk and Joe Rogan, have urged he run for president. At a recent event, Trump made fun of Ron DeSantis by dubbing him “DeSanctimonious.”

President Joe Biden, who defeated Trump in the 2020 presidential election, has not declared his intention to run for office again, although he has stated that he will.
