While In Ukraine, Lindsey Graham Warns ‘World Order Is at Stake’

In Ukraine on Friday, Sen. Lindsey Grahm (R-SC) demanded increased military assistance, claiming that the “world order is at jeopardy.” In order to achieve the goal of driving the Russian invader out of Ukraine, Graham stated, “We will continue to persuade the American people and the congress to send aid to Ukraine, economic aid, and military aid.”

Sens. Graham, Blumenthal, and Whitehouse met with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine as well as representatives from the United States.

“Tanks are necessary for the Ukrainian military to accomplish that goal. Who will send tanks and when to send them is a s*** show that I have grown tired of. Putin is attempting to redraw Europe’s borders by military force. The senator from South Carolina stated that the global order was under jeopardy.

“Send tanks to Ukraine because they need them, Germans. Putin’s defeat in Ukraine serves your own national interests. Send American tanks, the Biden administration, so that others will follow our example, he said.

“Taiwan is doomed if Putin gets away with this. Everything we’ve said since World War II will be meaningless if Putin is successful in Ukraine and not held accountable under international law. Beyond Ukraine, he will continue,” Graham added.

During their trip to Ukraine, the senators demanded that the Wagner Group, a Russian paramilitary group, be classified as a foreign terrorist organization under American law. naming Russia as a state-sponsored terrorist organization; helping the International Criminal Court (ICC) file war crimes allegations against allegedly war criminal Russians; ongoing military and financial support for Ukraine

Today’s fight, according to Blumenthal, is in Ukraine, but “if we don’t stop [Vladimir] Putin now, tomorrow it will be us.”

The Connecticut senator stated, “We shouldn’t deploy American troops to Ukraine, but we should provide Ukraine everything we would offer our forces if they were fighting on the ground.”

In response to the Biden administration’s recent announcement of a new multibillion-dollar aid package for Ukraine, Breitbart News’ Kristina Wong reported that Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the United States will help Ukraine “for as long as it takes.” This raises the total amount of military aid provided to Ukraine since the start of 2021 to $27.5 billion.

Since the start of the conflict, the U.S. has contributed more than $100 billion. The Biden administration’s unending backing for Ukraine has been raking in millions of dollars for weapons companies in the meantime.
